Co-Founders Ben and Alanna have a collective 30+ years of chess teaching experience and have traveled to 25+ states across the United States to teach children chess. They’ve taught over 10,000 children and coach at the Local, City and National level. They are among the strongest brother-sister chess players in the country and bring their wealth of experience to their students.
Chess Katz runs muliple levels of instruction through carefully thought out classes and customizes the curriculum to fit the students in the class. Chess Katz also runs summer camps and provides private lessons for children ages 5 to 18. We integrate lessons on openings, tactics, end games, strategy, tournament skills and sportsmanship. We offer private lessons for all levels and ages. Chess players naturally learn social and life skills through chess.
